Opportunity for the SHORE project

The SHORE project’s second open call offers schools a unique opportunity to secure up to €10,000 in funding for projects that enhance ocean and water literacy. These grants aim to help educators and students explore the importance of marine conservation through creative and interactive approaches. The initiative encourages projects that foster eco-citizenship, equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills to tackle pressing environmental challenges such as pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change.

In addition to financial support, participating schools will join a wider network of blue schools and educators across the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Danube River, and Rhine River regions. This open call is a crucial step towards building an informed and active community of young ocean stewards who can influence the future of marine ecosystems.

Deadline for submissions: 20 November 2024
