Who are we?
IGTP is a public research centre dedicated to increasing scientific knowledge and transferring it to improve the care and lives of patients. The institute is attached to one of the large teaching hospitals in the Barcelona area; the Germans Trias University Hospital (HUGTIP), and is located at the biomedical campus that surrounds it, the Can Ruti Biomedical Campus. The Institute is considered a research centre of excellence by the Generalitat de Catalunya of the CERCA system and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), being in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the Campus, working in close collaboration with the other centres in the campus.

What do we offer?
At IGTP, we have a specific research group for tackling this challenge. The Research Group for Innovation, Health Economics and Digital Transformation at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute was set up in early 2022; it brings together specialists in a number of different areas. The overarching aim of the group is to conduct applied transversal research with the vision of impacting the healthcare model, it will do this by connecting multidisciplinary teams, consisting of management, innovation, digital transformation, knowledge transfer and health economics experts.
