Opportunity for the HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-ENVHLTH-01 funding call

Towards a better understanding and anticipation of the impacts of climate change on health

Deadline:

April 16, 2026

Project types:

  1. HORIZON-RIA HORIZON Research and Innovation Actions

Project Proposal

I am preparing a proposal for the Horizon Europe call HORIZON‑HLTH‑2026‑01‑ENVHLTH‑01, focusing on the combined impact of climate change, air pollution, and environmental stressors on vulnerable neurological patients.

The project, THERMIND, aims to develop a Personalised Health Digital Twin integrating multimodal data (clinical, biological, imaging, IoT, and environmental exposure).

I am looking for new partners in the following domains:

1. Companies developing wearable systems for patient data acquisition
Seeking medical‑grade wearable devices capable of collecting:
• cardiovascular signals
• thermoregulation parameters
• sleep metrics
• motor activity
These data streams will support real‑time monitoring and physiological model calibration.

2. Research centres or universities with expertise in health‑related Digital Twins
Areas of interest include:
• modelling of patient‑specific physiology
• AI‑driven digital twins for prognosis and risk estimation
• integration of environmental / exposomic variables
• federated or privacy‑preserving computational frameworks
Institutions from Catalunya are especially welcome.

3. Companies specialising in harmonising and integrating historical health data
Looking for expertise in:
• interoperability (HL7‑FHIR, FAIR principles)
• harmonisation of heterogeneous biomedical datasets
• secure and compliant data‑governance solutions

If your organisation fits any of these profiles, please contact me directly via email, rather than through the platform.
I would be happy to arrange a meeting to present the project and explore potential collaborations.
