Seeking expertise:
Prof. Nadia Raffaelli is seeking researchers interested in developing the following project idea for an MSCA-PF proposal: Exploring the role of vitamin B3 metabolism in inflammation aiming at clarifying the mechanism of action of eNADBEs, with the ultimate goal of controlling the induced inflammatory response.
A basic understanding and technical ability in routine molecular biology techniques (western blotting, qPCR…) are required.
Experience working with cellular models of inflammatory diseases, functional genomic techniques (shRNA, CRISP…), as well as mass spectrometry for metabolomics will be considered strengths.
The UNIVPM’s research team offers complementary expertise in the area of protein biochemistry, enzymes characterization and structural biology.
Prof. Raffaelli can act as a Supervisor of an MSCA-PF proposal, as she is full professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, and member of the Interdipartimental Biochemistry Lab at the Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona, Italy.
See attached presentation for more information about the project idea, the supervisor's CV and the research group.
