Opportunity for the EP PerMed (CARMEN2026) project

We are seeking a researcher with expertise in ethical, legal and/or social aspects (ELSA) or implementation research related to personalised medicine. The role will contribute to interdisciplinary, co-created research involving scientists, patients and citizens to assess societal impacts of PM research on pronostic biomarkers and its translation into practice. Key activities include addressing ethical data governance, equity of access to innovative diagnostics and treatments, responsible use of decision-support tools, and avoidance of bias in automated systems. The candidate can also support research on regulatory frameworks, communication of benefits and risks, and the development of inclusive strategies that foster trust, acceptance and uptake of personalised medicine by end-users.
