Project Proposal
Seeking international collaborators for upcoming COST action with the topic Antifragile Systems Engineering
Can act as:
Seeking expertise:
For our COST proposal (deadline: 21 October 2025), we are specifically looking for project partners from the so-called Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC). These countries are priority regions for funding within European research cooperation and offer great potential for innovative collaborations.
The current ITC countries within COST are:
Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
The research group of nine universities/research institutes is dedicated to the interdisciplinary research and application of antifragility. Their focus is to build a foundational knowledge base by applying antifragile system design, analysis, and development across domains. They are interested in formalizing principles and an apparatus that turns the basic concept of antifragility into a tool for desining and building closed-loop systems that behave beyond robust in the face of uncertainty.
More information about the research group can be found here:

If you are interested or have suggestions for potential partners, we would be happy to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Kerstin
