Can act as:
Seeking expertise:
Description:
Our project's core objective is to establish an effective and sustainable hydrogen ecosystem tailored for short-sea shipping, making a substantial contribution to maritime sustainability. We are actively seeking collaborators who share our vision and are willing to lead or join our consortium.
What We Aim to Accomplish:
Develop an innovative and eco-friendly hydrogen ecosystem designed specifically for short-sea shipping.
Demonstrate the feasibility and efficacy of hydrogen fuel cell-powered vessels in real-world applications.
Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry experts and academics, promoting a holistic approach to sustainable maritime solutions.
Make a meaningful contribution to the EU's Clean Hydrogen initiative, driving forward maritime sustainability and green technology adoption.
We're Seeking the Following Collaborators:
Project Coordinator: An experienced partner with a track record of project leadership.
Port Authority: To serve as the hosting hub for our hydrogen ecosystem.
Classification Society: Responsible for the development of technical standards and validation methods for hydrogen and its carriers' equipment and systems.
Hydrogen Supplier: To provide a sustainable source of green hydrogen and construct the necessary infrastructure, including hydrogen storage and refueling stations.
Hydrogen Storage Vessel Producer: Tasked with developing diverse on-board hydrogen storage solutions, tailored to vessel requirements (e.g., pressurized, liquefied, metal hydride, ammonia, methanol, LOHC, etc.).
Advanced Marine Propulsion System Provider: Responsible for delivering the power source, encompassing fuel cells, batteries, and energy management strategies for propulsion systems.
Visibility:
Our project opportunity is time-sensitive and aligns with the EU Horizon CleanH2 project's timeline. We welcome discussions with potential partners who share our vision and are committed to advancing sustainable maritime solutions.
