MSCA Doctoral Network 2025 | UK University Partner Wanted — Psychiatry & Digital Mental Health LLM
Can act as:
Seeking expertise:
Gazi University and Tiga (Türkiye) coordinates a MSCA Doctoral Network focused on large language models for psychiatry and digital mental health across hybrid clinical–home care pathways. The network will train excellent doctoral candidates through international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary research, pairing AI methods with clinical methodology, privacy-by-design, safety, explainability and impact evaluation in real-world healthcare settings.
We seek one UK university to host and co-supervise doctoral candidates; contribute to the Supervisory Board; provide network-wide training in research and transferable skills (e.g., Open Science, data governance, reproducibility, clinical research methods); and enable secondments or ethics/clinical labs where feasible. Illustrative DC topics include clinically aligned LLM development and evaluation, multimodal early-warning models (text, wearables, sleep and clinical forms), and regulatory/ethical frameworks (AI governance, risk management, human oversight).
The consortium offers strong industry and clinical ecosystems, data-intensive research topics, rich secondment opportunities, and high-visibility dissemination and exploitation channels. Expected outputs include joint publications and demonstrators, a data governance and safety guide, at least one training school, and open training assets to maximise impact.
