Opportunity for the SHORE project

The first edition of SHORE Mission Ocean Night will take place simultaneously in Romania, Turkey, Poland and Italy on 7 June 2024.

What is Mission Ocean Night?
Organised by the SHORE Country Hubs, the event aims to:
- Promoting connections: Strengthen links between the research and education communities.
- Engage the public: Improve public understanding and engagement with marine science.
- Highlight Research: Showcase the vital role of school projects and advanced marine research.

Why participate?
- Collaborate with peers: Network with fellow researchers and RTOs and explore opportunities for collaboration.
- Share and Learn: Gain insights into the latest developments in marine science and conservation.
- Educational Outreach: Contribute to public engagement and inspire the next generation of scientists.

Event Programme:.
- Online Session**: Begins at 10 am CEST with a high-level online session featuring prominent speakers.
- Local Activities: Take part in various activities throughout the day in Romania, Turkey, Poland and Italy. Check the specific agendas for each location.

Who can attend?
Researchers, RTOs and anyone interested in the intersection of marine science and public engagement are welcome.
