Open Innovation Opportunity

Project Proposal

The project aims to develop a comparative, historically grounded, and spatially explicit understanding of industrial transitions—past and present—to support a fair green transition. We will examine how industrial decline and renewal shape regional development trajectories, labour mobility, firm adaptation, and institutional resilience. Our approach combines historical analysis, economic geography, social simulation, and policy translation.
