The OECD Forum on Green Finance and Investment, which I attended online this week as part of ICPโs activities within the JUSTNature project, provided a fascinating insight into the complexity of the issues involved around green financing, sustainability, how to develop appropriate metrics, governance, and the eye-watering amounts of money involved.
The need for greater engagement between public and private partners was expanded upon, as well as a call for Europe to pursue new ways of meeting the many goals it is setting itself in greening our society. As part of the JUSTNature project, ICP is gathering information about best practices, shortcomings, and needs in relation to public-private collaborations leading to Nature-based solutions ecosystems, and, ultimately, to entrepreneurial opportunities and markets, and we want to hear from YOU.
